In life there are those of us that succeed no matter what we do, we have the world literally in our hands. And then there are those of us that are less fortunate, who suffer in both the inside and out, and feel as if they are trapped within this cage of torment without the opportunity of escape. However, if one were to look more closely they would be surprised to discover that both worlds are not quite as distant as they assumed.

My gosh this this drawing has taken me what seems like a lifetime to complete. However, I cannot say that I am unhappy with the finished result. As always my scanner did not scan *all* the details but it did capture the majority. I also wished to include a border around this, but I am too tired and flu suffering at the moment.

I've been so busy lately. I haven't had much time to draw, or do anything for myself as of late. My QCS finals are under a month away I have been studying for that while completing the crap load of assesment I have been given. I complain quite endlessly about school at the moment, but I must admit while it has stressed me out to no extent I will be sad to see it go.

This piece came out exactly as I had envisioned. I've been reading a fair bit of Jane Austen lately and I notice elements of Pride and Prejudice embedded in this piece. Weird, considering I am not the largest fan of Jane Austen's work. I suppose we draw inspiration from crazy places.
