I will answer when I have a bit more time. But I wanted to say that Film in general is such a loved art form that I dont see all film disapearing.
The Minox, Dana, Holga have all become really popular again!
I would say some film will be with us forever. (not polaroid) 35mm and some of the med formats like hasselblad cameras, TLR's like rollei and mamiya should all have film for years to come.
Just get a popular format. And I dont think you will have a problem with film. Truely Ritz/Kodak and other sources are cheap to have prints done.
I will catch up with more info later. I am Illing and need to make out with my soft sweet pillow. xo

So talk to me about what your thinking.
I really think you would love the adventure of having a camera at your fingertips. Seeing the city you just cant predict what cool life moment will pop up.
Do you want to lean into film more? Vintage or replica camera are really popular right now.
examples would be the classic LOMO: [link]
or Holga [link]
Lomo fish eye

Or you can go with a solid 35mm new start under $200. I would recommend watching ebay for a old kit someone is selling. pentax, minolta, nikon or canon films are cheap and solid
Or u want to jump digital?
This is a wide open game. Big small complex. Good stuff starting 100-300

Please feel free to come back with more questions. there is alot of fun things out there.
My original thought was a camera that you can keep in your purse. thats why I love the legendary rangefinder cameras. Most allow lens changes and filters also. So you can add that OLD school feel to shots. And remember your shooting film so you can go Kodak gold, Fuji Reale or anything that captures the magic for you!

what a great composition of life. Great feel and great shots.
You have matured so much in the last few years in your ability to capture a shot and see artistically. GREAT WORK!

Well to earn my namesake for a moment. Your past actions are only stepping stones to the future you. Be aware, learn, glance back but dont look back......Focus on the magic that lies ahead.
Yes each one of these shots is excellent and your skill is notably increased.

Thank you so much for another tip. I don't mean to sound naive, but what kind of camera are you thinking? I'd love to try out another one, but I am not sure which brand would be the best, etc.

Lets just say you just hit a topic I love. Gear and new cameras. So its like saying. Hey bill wants some candy. LOL
I have a little formula that helps me say what works best.
:redbullet: What do you want to do with the camera? For Example Wide angle, Sports shots, mixed or low light. Do you want to shoot vintage shots. like a dana or holga old school camera.
:redbullet: What type of camera would you like. SMALL, Tiny or medium?
:redbullet: Film or digital?
:redbullet: What amount of money do you want to spend.
That will help me offer a suggestion. I love cameras, so im excited to help.
If your thinking digital mini's I love the sony and canon tiny cams.

Well I want to try something new. I have been really interested in holga. I love seeing holga and old school camera photographs. I also love (and I don't know the name, sorry) but it's photos where there is a black border/frame around it. Blah I can't describe well, something like this kind of photo: [link]
or this: [link]
The size honestly doesn't matter to me. Maybe just not gigantic lol.
Film, But I am worried that film won't be around anymore soon, plus I don't have my own darkroom so I would need to get it developed.
Money, I don't want to spend too much, but I know that I want a quality camera, so I guess the price doesn't matter too much right now.
Sorry for the sloppy information, I hope I conveyed what I wanted okay lol. Thanks for all your help!!!
