Would you mind clarifying what you mean by "Distribute: On model"?
Does that mean it's okay for us to include the bat with a model download? If we make an edit of the bat, are we not allowed to distribute it unless it's part of a model?
(Sorry, I'm easily confused and always think it's better to ask before doing something that might be against the rules.)

You can use "dummy bones" to rotate the bat around. It should always be included in your MMD folder. Just find it with the rest of the models.

You're probably trying to load accessory files from the model loading.
To import accessories (.x files) you need to load them from the Accessories box when you go to the camera layer.
