Oh my gosh, finally!  It only took me about a month, but I am finally finished hook, line, and sinker XD failed anatomy aside, I think I did pretty well! I'm trying to introduce realism into my art and make it semi-realism. the lips and hair actually took up most of my time with this. The speedpaint filming/editing didn't exactly help either; I dislike Stocking's hair, drawing-wise. I kept messing up with how the hair flowed and because the hairstyle is more "bowl-cut", I kept getting confused at where the hair would fall and how much would show on either side I think I spent two weeks on just the hair itself If it wasn't for the hair, I would have been finished by now However, I am in love with the BG, I just love it so much;I was trying to incorporate a little "lolita" feel with the stripes. Don't know how I did with that but meh, I like it lol did I use the wrong leg for the Stripe sword? I don't think there's a 'right' leg, but I noticed not many people draw Stocking with her left stocking off...oh well

Enjoy!

I think it's cool you're incorporating different styles into your own. (Heaven knows I can't do realism. XD) I love watching people's styles and skills evolve, and you've come a long way! <:

I think the anatomy's pretty good except for the arms which are a little short/small. And as usual your coloring/shading is wonderful. (And I agree, the background looks great.)

one apologetically late response later
Thank you Minty-san!   And thank you for the compliments as well as the feedback; wish I can go back and fix the arms now back to anatomy tutorials I go lol I don't think you need realism with your style because it's already awesome as is ^^

You're welcome~!

Aww, thank you!   Though, I meant more of practicing realism separately to hone a wider range of art styles. Of course, while taking Foundations of Art at in high school, I learned quickly that realism is horrible rather difficult HORRIBLE not my cup of tea. I've always had a little trouble distinguishing human faces and features from one another.

From the shoulders up, the hair looks like its falling naturally. Then it gets really stiff. But goodness, I LOVE how you colored the hair!

Thank you, glad you like it and thank you for the feedback

Yea, I'm still not happy with how I drew the hair; I wish I could have drawn it more natural looking, but I kept getting confused

And thank you so much for the watch
