I love the free flowing form of your watercolors...its sad to say buy i have forgotton how to use them, i got so used to acyrlic which you can fix and watercolor you cant...anyway I love your style alot and i get what u mean by the comp. de-saturates the color...bleh...^ & ^ and all mine are indlulgent!! heh heh!

Wow thats awesome!!! Even if it was a self-indulgent piece witch there is nothing wrong with that it came out fantastic. Good work. I love the look of it. The wolf looks so....... AWESOME. Its great to see more of your work and sorry I have not been able to comment on the other new pieces.

Great picture, I like the fiery background a lot. If you want to make the colors stand out more you can try opening it up in a digital art program and increase the contrast of the colors.

I prefer not to do color control with contrast, though. A good program will have more accurate controls over individual colors as opposed to a general contrast control. Unfortunately, no matter how accurate you get the image, when you save to jpg or png, you loose it again... and then some. If you over-saturate it and then save as a web-friendly format hoping it will de-saturate down to something close to the original, the software is doing some interpolation in there, and the end result will not have the same color depth as it did originally. Web formats just don't have the accurate color space that psd or tif or eps do. I think. I'm no expert though... I just know enough to know that I don't know enough...
