Description Project One is a huge structure, designed as a solution for overcrowding, polluted cities. Theoretically inhabitants can spend all life without leaving that arcology, because there's much space for apartments, firms, factories, cinemas, theaters etc. It can produce energy, even food and water. After reconstruction it could develop its own separated atmosphere and ecosystem

As You see, Project One is still uncompleted, but lower level are available for a settlement. The construction takes many years, so inhabitants living in neighborhood complain that it'll never be completed.

Where the idea came from? Cocept of arcologies exist already, still being too futuristic, but who knows how long. Arcologies were featured in various S-f, for example William Gibson's "Count Zero". It reminds me vision of Tower of Babel, or maybe a bigger version of Mount Saint Michel island.
