Don't get me wrong, I do wear make up sometimes, but like... rare and on special occasions, and even if I do put make up, it's really light (mascara + lip gloss)But I really hate when some people expect from you that from a certain age you have to wear make up everyday or else you look "meh"
I also hate it when I see girls my age that don't have the courage to get out even a second out of the house without make up. I mean seriously, what ever happened to natural beauty? Why are girls ashamed to display themselves without all those cosmetics? O_o
I once had a sleepover with a friend that I very rarely see her without her usual make up and I got a chance to see her face in it's natural form. And I had to say this; she was much more prettier without her daily make up. Too bad she thinks that she's "uglier" without it...
So, my opinion; hygiene and a bit of arrangement are enough.

edit: forgot to mention that I use lipgloss almost daily just for my lip care, they're usually dry and rough.

edit3: ok, just to make few things clear: I don't have anything against the people who wear make-up on a daily basis. I'm just against the ideas that "OMG, you wear no make-up, YOU'RE FUGLYYYY!!!" and "I MUST WEAR MAKE-UP BECAUSE I'M SO DAMN UGLY WITHOUT IT". No. I believe people look beautiful with and without make-up, you just need to learn to love yourself in either way and go with your head high. It's no shame in not wearing make-up, we were all born like that, it's a natural thing, we shouldn't be scared of what we really are.
Just my point though.

I don't wear makeup because I don't feel the need/desire to, and I don't really care about it either. I only wear it on very special occasions, for example my mom's wedding that was in September. I only wear makeup on things that are EXTREMELY important such as that.

I don't even think that make up is really that nessessary (<--I don't know if I misspelled that..english is not my native language.) The only type of makeup I use is costume makeup, or eyeliner and lipgloss XD. Besides if you use too much makeup at a young age it slaps you in the face like a jilted ex-wife when you're older.

YES. I hate make-up. It gets all in my eyes and nose and mouth, and some of my friends tell that I should wear it to "make me prettier". Really? I seriously hate when people think make-up equals beauty. This is who I am. This is what I look like. You either take it as you find it, or you leave it.

Haaaa, I'm just like you. Chapstick constantly in my pocket for dryness, but I only wear makeup for special occasions, and even then it's only a little foundation around my eyes and maybe a little blush and mascara if it's gonna be dark out. It's nice to find someone else who doesn't feel the need to plaster on a mask every morning. <3

I only wear make-up on picture days or dances (which I don't even go to xD) But other than that, I find make-up kinda pointless. Besides, most guys don't even like make-up from what I hear.

I usually wear some powder, and occasionally light rouge (depending on my eyeshadow), but I don't really do much makeup except for my eyelids. Basically, I put the most time into my eyeshadow, as I usually wear some weird color over my eyelids and curl up my eyelashes. The thing I don't usually wear is lipstick, as I only really wear anything on my lips unless they're chapped. I only really wear makeup because it looks cool, not to really hide anything.
It drives me nuts when people like me, who wear a lot of makeup, are viewed as vain, when people who don't wear makeup are viewed as not caring about themselves. I'm not vain, and I know many people who don't wear makeup and still look really nice.

I actually use quiet a lot of make up, I guess I am the one in my class, who uses the most make up xD It's not very time consuming if you get used to do it. I put on the following xD -> make-up, transparent powder, black eye-pencil, pink blush, mascara, grey-holographic eye-shadow, lip balm and lipstick, this is done in five minutes. But it looks is not flashy since my skin is very pale and I use only very bright colours, I also do not use make-up to make my skin look tanner since I love having a super pale skin xD I'm actually not at all arrogant or anything I just think it looks nice but I think those who do not like it should be treated with respect too since everyone can do what they want^^ But I really hate it when someone, who does wear is judged as arrogant and someone who does not as sloppy =_=

Well maybe if you didn't wear make-up all the time, people would be used to seeing your natural face and not find it weird. And it shouldn't be a big deal when you don't wear makeup, it's not a necessity like clothes, it should be normal to be without makeup! What's wrong with your REAL face?! I have acne, but I'd rather people see the real me so I have nothing to hide.

when i was in school (6th grade) they already had girls in:
short skirts
tight pants
colorful hair
piled on cosmetics
6 in. heals (yes and this wa actually 5th grade)
and even jewls next to their eyes!

I totally agree with this! I am almost the only one in my class who doesn't wear make up, and that's the reason why I am seen as the ugliest by the others... I don't give a damn about it. They are all fake and they can't accept themselves the way the really are. And besides, there are so many cosmetics that are not even healthy for the skin, but it is their choice anyway. so totally agree with this~ I'm 17 and i've never worn a touch of makeup in my entire life. Not only do i believe in natural beauty, but makeup can be bad for your skin. And even more so, why do guys look naturally attractive without it, but girls can't? i find that makeup is only worn by women because that's how society taught us...and society has proven to be a douche xD
