Born from the waves surrounding the Isle of Wight, Caspian was the first child born from the current king and queen of a large kingdom of merpeople. He grew up underneath the English island, away from the human eye, and raised to be the next heir of the throne. The little sea prince's days were filled with colorful sea life and exploring the water around him, under strict supervision. An only child who could make friends with the fish and dolphins that resided in the area. Caspian believed that he was going to be the next king for as long as he could remember, and he was always forced to act like so. Spoiled, but lonely and searching for adventure.

There were countless times where he was too reckless and came in contact with humans. Such as looking over ships that were tied to the shore, or sneaking up on humans who got too close to the deep water. Out of curiosity of course, never meant to harm his kind. But rumors began spreading on land, and humans were known to be greedy. He was scolded countless of times, even as he was growing into a fully formed adult merman. His parents were growing old, but never grew any less strict.

One cloudy day, Caspian was close to the shores of the island again. Unfortunately, extreme weather began to hit hard and a massive hurricane overthrew him and the merpeople. A huge clash of mythical sea creatures and man made ships ensued and debris was everywhere. It was the biggest, most cruelest storm the prince had ever seen. It wiped out a portion of both humans and sea people, and neither king or queen of the ocean was to be found after the storm resided. In a fit of shock and disbelief, Caspian swam off from his people, and the home he once knew. His parents must have been lost, swept away into the sea. And he wasn't ready to rule these people, far from it. He kept swimming farther and farther west until he no longer knew where he was going. By then he was barely on the outskirts of England. No going back now.

Many months Caspian went to fend for himself, no supervisors or friendly sea animals. He picked up a few survival tips, after failed attempts of catching his own food. He ended up swimming so far into the West that he ended up on the East Coast of the United States. He decided to explore the area while keeping a safe distance from human eyes. He spent so long lingering about in the area that his original accent dissipated to resemble something more American. However, he grew bored and proceeded to venture deeper into the country.

It wasn't long before Caspian dove into freshwater lakes and ended up in the Love Lake. Upon arriving, he met a less-than-friendly forest witch named Rowan who lived close by. The pair took some time to warm up to each other, while the merman resided in the lake trying to get used to his surroundings. Eventually, the witch offered to let him stay at her cottage, and in return he would help her water her massive collection of plants. He agreed, and Rowan used her magical abilities to give the prince a pair of human legs. She taught him how to walk properly, how to read, and allowed him to be human and explore Indieville as long as he didn't get wet. He has his own bedroom with a water bed and a gigantic bathtub for when he isn't human. Fast forward a few months and Caspian successfully gained a job in town. He still lives with Rowan, and now chooses to abandon his past for a more cozy lifestyle and hopefully find more new friends.
