"I'm ready, Beck! Let's go!""Yeah, onward to stomp CAPCO-- I mean, sell some chocolate!!"
I honestly got this idea when I saw some of Beck's potential transformations here: [link] And then somehow the tank-half picture brought up this old image of a dude in a tank saying, "Drive me in closer, I wanna hit them with my sword!" And so, I put Megaman and Beck in a similar position, and this magical, little wonder came about~!
Sometimes when I put these two together, I can see them as almost partners in crime-- though, they're also considered the same person. It's either that, or Megaman is able to utilize Beck as a secondary living-weapon, you know with him being able to shift his body into certain parts.
By the who, I also saw news updated that Beck will possibly be able to go all out and make it to the WiiU, PS3, and XBox 360. Isn't that a swell-shamoozy sign for him~?
Also, since I'm really bad at drawing super-mechy stuff, I had to improvise on Beck's tank-half and simplify it to a very unrealistic-version. Ah well, it's not much to think about anyway~ I still had to guess colors for it myself!
I am so proud of the pose though, even if the overlapping was weird here-n-there. I told myself not sketch-a-doodle for it, otherwise the doodle's probably gonna be so much better it may have driven me ba-jumbles to enlarge it in a real sketch! ( * C*);

Megaman is riding on Beck. Now that's something I've never seen before. Good job on the picture.
By the way, are you aware of the existance of Ray from Mighty No.9? Her body kept deteriorating, which forced her to consume Xels of other robots more often. This behavior is like that of a vampire.

When I saw that prototype transformation in Beck's concepts, that was the first thing that came to my mind.
And yes, I have! I've following Mighty No 9's growth since its Kickstarter, though I never contributed to it, and do know about Ray's existence and person. Even so, I'm not sure that I'm interested in drawing her right now. ( ' v');

I saw this thing about how he transforms using upgrades taken from beaten robot's parts.
I think the way Beck does it reminds me more of Vectorman than Megaman. If you've ever played Vectorman, he was a similar robot with segmented limbs that he could rearrange to form into various other things, such as a tank, a scorpion, and more, not to mention could shoot energy blasts from his hands too. Still very awesome if you ask me, and makes me support Mighty No. 9 even more!

Ah, reminded me of this ol' show I remember watching called Galidor. The main character of that series transformed in a similar fashion to the Vectorman that you described, so I found Beck's style interesting as well~!

Never heard of Galidor, but that does sound cool.
Also now that I think about it, I think it also reminds me in ways of the robot, Cubix, from this oldΒ show "Cubix Robots for Everyone." Cubix also possessed a similar transformation technique, due to his Segmented Cube Body. I think I recall Cubix also had something like that Hammer Form shown in those sketches there, and the way he'd transform is similar to how Beck is doing it in that third screenshot (also similar to how Vectorman would).

What a whimsical scene!! You're not too far when thinking how they'd be partner's in crime (or in this case.) Perhaps this would serve as some inspiration for (inter)-crossover game featuring both? (-ΓΆvΓΆ-)
