for the last time, I am NOT using any of those things!
I mean, good lord, one needs to be a *Rocket Scientist* to figure those things out.

I prefer "Simple" not Complex, or Sophisticated.

Sonic fanboys & fangirls be complaining about Sonic Boom, well, look at Crash Bandicoot, then Crash of the Titans. Now that's a more drastic reboot than Sonic Boom, and even some fanboys and fangirls of Classic Crash hated it.
Sorry, that's what I think when I see this.

When I think of "True" Crash Bandicoot, I like to look back at the game: 'Crash Twinsanity'
(if anything, Sonic Boom is a lot like THAT game: Islands, Mad Scientists, Talking Animals and Craziness.)
So, I'm confused here. Do you LIKE this, or hate it?
because I am getting 'mixed signals' from your statement.

Yeah, true. Too bad it wasn't finished fully.
Also, huh? I'm neutral on it.

I can work with neutral. It's not an "I Love It", but at least it isn't an "I Hate It."
Also, I think the gripe over Sonic Boom is unnecessary.
I am fairly certain that (like Sonic X) Sonic Boom is an AU Sonic Universe, separate from the mainstream Sonicverse
(least, that's how they are portraying it with the Sonic Comic Books by Archie Comics.
like the now canceled Sonic X books, Sonic Boom is separate from the recently "New 52ed" Sonic the Hedgehog comic series.)
See, THIS is how I handle changes to a given fandom. with the "Parallel Earth" philosophy.
there is no such thing as "Ruined FOREVER". there is just Several different versions of the same thing.
that "TMNT: Turtles Forever" animated movie explained it best., with the 2000s and 80s ninja turtles in the same movie together.

Crash Bandicoot is one video game series that needs a freakin new game already! I keep hearing rumors that it's getting a reboot, but no real solid evidence that it's going to happen other than the original developers Naughty Dog saying they would love to return to the series, but there's a better chance of them rebooting Jak and Daxter than there is Crash Bandicoot.

You ain't just whistlin' Dixie, pal.
the LAST released Crash Game was on, what: Playstation 2?
and, today, the Playstation 4 is the latest thing. Crash missed out on a WHOLE Gaming generation already!
It's time for a new released, and FAST.

Well...
N. Sane Trilogy got released. But it's more of a remaster than a new title.

a Remaster with some added/altered scenes and features from the original.
Some cosmetic, while others..Eh, It's Crash Bandicoot. I expected high difficulty.
(At least saving on Crash 1 is easier, now.)

That made gaining 99 lives all but impossible
(and, believe me. in SOME levels, you needed at least 99 lives to get past them.)
And, the Remaster knows this, as you are awarded an achievement
for gaining 99 lives on all three games for the first time.
