The #drawthisinyourstyle challenge didn't come at the best timing for me, even though I found it to be a very interesting idea... But you know, no PC, no drawing, no supplies in the last three weeks... And then I saw Lexidus 's artwork for the challenge, and thought: well, MAYBE I can do it in graphite! I was quite lucky with it.

But well... This is not exactly a copy... It's more like I took just the same idea, and made my own interpretation of that... She looks much more alive in the original artwork, but I wanted her to look like she's really sculpted out of stone. That's why the hair is sorta chunky and the face has stronger features (but then I shouldn't have made her hollow... Damn it). And please go and read her story over at Lexidus's page, because it's so unique and touching that I cant even compare it to anything I've seen before!

It was still a fun experience in the end! I want to do more, but the meme is probably over its prime time, so I don't know... I'm getting a laptop this week, so I'll hopefully be able to do some digital art even when I'm not home! I'm so excited!
