The story in short:

>do it because you have a problem with your head
>hide it because you're actually ashamed of it
>cry when somebody sees it

Yep, that's my boy Aven.

Technical stuff:

Soooo I though I'd use a lot of red tones, but I might have gone a little too overboard... At least I've had fun! Then I also wanted to over-dramatize (I can't find that word that I need here) his eyes into this almost old-man-looking shape.

I tried to imagine what a wound like this would look like in real life, because those make-up looks seem kinda... too pretty? Since nobody is gonna tear their faces apart for me to study, I guessed that without the suspensory muscles that connect the lower jaw to the cheekbones, the lower lip and the tissue around it would flop down, creating this very "attractive" look our poor boy has here. The musculus masseter is supposed to be still intact, but I think I left too little place for it to make sense... If it was right, he could still close the gap between the teeth, and essentially bite, too.

I FORGOT THAT ONE OF HIS HANDS IS BLUE AAAAAAAAH! I'm never gonna forgive myseeelf... I also forgot to include the wings somehow...
