Gift for =armaapanui Ive been trying for hours to upload this but dA has been awful.I wasn't going to do a background, but I was looking through !ox-of-ice 's dA gallery, and was inspired by:

Why did I fav this work?
I usually don't like wings. Often they're just used to make a character "extra unique"
It's different here. The wings blend in perfectly in the cloudy and starry scene (both awesomely made BTW) and in the cool colour scheme.
Overall it's a calming picture with cool colours and a soothing scene. You can feel the breeze and the coolness.
Considering the lineart and colouring it's your high standard if I look through your gallery: Clean and neat lineart and slight shading.

I really dont think the clouds are crap, i think they're lovely; they look very deamlike and serine and they compliment the charaters expression and the stars, the slight glow to the clouds in places is really pretty tooo
