Aah, I know Switzerland
I live in Europe myself, Belgium to be exactly.
And believe me when I say our country is small as well
But I have family in Lithuania, that's why I'd love to see Russia one day, since Lithuania and Russia have this history together. And because I love Lithuania, I'd probably love Russia as well.

You should visit! there are many interesting things to see, they aren't the type of things i would go see cos they aren't that "pretty" for me heh.

melizekeuh In reply to Mazeomonic [2012-06-05 19:03:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, just like my mother! She'd like to visit countries like Egypt or Morocco, because of the culture. But me, on the other hand, I'm much more interested in those Nordic culture and countries. Don't know why, though

Mazeomonic In reply to melizekeuh [2012-06-05 23:08:48 +0000 UTC]

SAME! haha! :'D not a fan of egypt or indian and other cultures of that kind, i'm mostly interested in nordic countries like you, canada, alaska, england ect... got no reason why as well
it's like disliking a color and liking a color, sometimes you can't explain why you like that color and don't like the other one.

melizekeuh In reply to Mazeomonic [2012-06-06 14:49:41 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, exactly the same here!
Though I wouldn't mind visiting any of those countries, cause I believe they are gorgeous as well. But I'd just prefer to see for example Russia over Morocco.

i won't mind either, just the fact that it would be extremely hot there bothers me :'D and the insects ....*shiver*

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

melizekeuh In reply to Mazeomonic [2012-06-07 16:27:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, northern countries don't have those extreme temperatures. Though I must say, when it's summer and we go to Lithuania, it can be quite hot at times. But not like Turkey-40-degrees-hot! No, more like an awsome-25-30-degrees-hot. I love it!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazeomonic In reply to melizekeuh [2012-06-07 16:40:07 +0000 UTC]

true, and i've never been to a country that's like 40 degrees hot :'D the hottest one i've ever been to was cambodia, SNAKES ! SNAKES EVERYWHERE XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

melizekeuh In reply to Mazeomonic [2012-06-07 16:54:54 +0000 UTC]

Really? Camobdia? Was it nice? And wow, 40 degrees!
The hottest I've ever been to is Spain. But it was more of a relaxation vacation, with my brother and sister. Loved the beach there, though!
But I was burned all over the place. It hurt a lot, but I did have a nice tan, afterwards.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazeomonic In reply to melizekeuh [2012-06-07 17:03:02 +0000 UTC]

cambodia had a lot of wonderful things to see x) but it was very hot and there were deadly mosquitos there, and green snakes q_______q
We didn't get to relax much at all :\ we just woke up early in the morning and off we went to explore cambodia under the hot sun. By the end of the day, we were all burned and had red faces and i even had a white marks around my eyes left from the sunglasses :'D

He is actually my cousin from Russia, he lives a base somewhere in Siberia. He says i gets well below -20 sometimes, and we think it is cold in the northern states here in the U.S.

Oh, god Your poor cousin.
Yeah, well, we live in Europe (Belgium, to be exactly) and it never gets as cold here, as well. Max -10 degrees...
But I have family in Lithuania, not far from Russia, and at times, it gets there below -20 as well! Believe me, they let me know it isn't so pleasant...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

roller323 In reply to melizekeuh [2011-12-20 23:49:57 +0000 UTC]

that's rough -_- seems like the world will freeze over sooner then we thought.
-20 is the HIGHEST temp my cousin works in when it is winter LOWEST he told me was about -74 about 4 years back. i spent a week with him in Russia once and it was about -41 the whole time. where i live in winter it get to about -20, i thought i was no stranger to cold, but one day there? i nearly turned into a popsicle.

melizekeuh In reply to roller323 [2011-12-21 12:00:52 +0000 UTC]

Dear god, -74?!
That must've been awful!
Yeah, well, this year, we're going to go celebrate christmas in Lithuania. (Actually, we're leaving tomorrow ) But it's not going to be so cold, this year. Only about -5, I suppose..
But man, I can't even imagine what -74 must feel like ...
