This sekere drum is 16-1/2" tall, 35" around. A big job, not for the faint-heart. Cleaning was a two-part nightmare. A waxy substance stuck to the outside, makes me wish I could sand blast it off, but that would kill my gourd. Those are actually places where the gourd was beginning to rot. They get really interesting sometimes. Sometimes they're really ugly.
