Because I decided (once again) that I disliked the design I came up for Sam, I tried again! Then I realized that he looked kinda ... dragonish, lolz.Which lead to the doodle of Miles laughing at Sam (who has apparently fallen on his face). Which then lead to the picture of ROTF!Sideswipe being too familiar with Sam. Which then lead to Sam being psychotic at the bottom (I'm guessing because someone was hurting BB, eh). Which then lead to me trying to figure out Sam's configuration with a silhouette over there on the left. Which, after I drew the Sambot in the upper righthand corner, lead me to drawing that Sambot is actually shorter than Jazz, which Jazz appreciates. Then I added Miles leaning on Sam's tire, so I had to draw the final picture, in which Miles tells Sam that he must squish Trent for Epic Win.
Sam does not agree.
(I drew RotF!Sideswipe being familiar with Sam for two reasons -- I realized that rotfSideswipe had this sort of 'dragon the badknight slayer' thing going on with configuration, and the conversation I had with Sophia after I watched the movie for the first time. I believe I said: "I KNOW. But I have just decided (right now) that Sideswipe is hot for Sam. All he did was go "SAM", so that has to mean SOMETHING.")
ALL OF THIS PROVES THAT A MEI CAN BE GUILTED INTO WORKING ON PAUSED PROJECTS, WHEN YOU MAY NOT BE AWARE YOU ARE GUILTING A MEI.

If you're talking about my Transformer!Sam story, there is indeed. It's called 'Conceptions of the Self' ( here ) although I haven't updated in ages. There are a lot of bot!sam stories, though so you should definitely look around.

These are amazing. Seriously. Miles is...so very Miles XD and psychotic Sambot is terrifying and hilarious all at the same time.
And Bumblebee! Sweetness! Upeer left hand corner = d'awwww!
Though the one with rotf!"Sideswipe" and Sam is my favorite. It's hilarious. (And Bee's response would probably be even more awesome.) Especially love Sam's face.

I can't even express how much I LOVE these doodles. I'm very glad you've actually drawn Sam as a bot, cuz I honestly had a bit of a hard time visualizing him as a Cybertronian (luuuurv the spikes)
It's cool you drew him so well as one of the 'Bayformers' - it seems to me, that it's one of the hardest TF concepts to draw.
...... Ya know. I just read the new chapter (which I'll review some time tomorrow), but the scenes with the Unknown (aka. RoTF!Sideswipe) and Sam thinking of him as kinda badass made me immidiatly think: "heh...he's awesome, and it would be neat if he and Sam interacted some more". (And that Bee should also experience being jealous)
....And then I found this and I went 'LOLZ!!!' We had similiar thoughts - which also may be a little disturbing
Anyways. Awesome doodles! I especially think "Sam with a psycothic episode" is very well made!

Which rather reminds me -- I was going over my LJ, and wasn't it you who wasn't sure why Sam's EA field was cringing away from Bumblebee while he was washing him?
If so (because I am epically lazy, and can't be bothered to check), it was because Sam discovered the scratch on BB's paint, that HAD to have been put there by Arcee, and he imagined that they were doing something ... er, biological. In other words, his feelings were hurt.

I keep trying to draw a real "standing pose" for Sam so that he can clearly be seen, but it's hard. Plus I keep making him do that kind of girly pose like he did in the outline with Jazz, which is lol 
I'm personally iffy on how well I succeeded at bayformers. It's really hard! :<
*squeak* I guess I was really, really, really entirely too vague in the description of the NAIAS fight. Rotf!Sideswipe ISN'T the Unknown -- he's taken the place of one of the normal Fourth soldiers, something that Sideswipe bitches at Prowl about because he hid that information since Sideswipe doesn't get along with Sir Stabsalot. I've gotten comments on how vague the fight scene was, and I guess my next order of action should be to fix that ...
... still, I was entertaining epic harassment scenes between RotF!Sideswipe and Sam, though I'm not entirely sure why it would go that way. After I counteracted that whole "BB is jealous of Mikaela" troupe and replaced it with "Sam's jealous of Arcee", it might have been fun to throw in some additional drama with RotF!Sideswipe.

O_o Wow, ok. I've re-read the fightscene a couple of times now, and it did confuse me quite a bit to start with. It makes more sense now

As for the harrasment. I'd say; GO WITH IT! XD You mentioned in an earlier chapter, that interfacing (and obviously some flirting also) do take place among the cybertronians. As far as I'm concerned the autobots needs 'a bit of shaking up' ya know something (or someone) different and Sam is a very likable character. It makes sense to me
Don't get me wrong, I support Bee/Sam big time!, but why not throw in a little jealousy - it'll certainly fit with the personality of the new and slightly Dark!Bumblebee. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he disliked a lot of the other bots if they get too close to Sam.
It would also be fun to see the twins reaction to 'little Boxy' being come on to. XD

You're right, though, and I hadn't thought about it. Some of the more outgoing bots WOULD be intensely interested in any autobot-friendly mechs that they hadn't seen before.
I'm kind OTPish with my couples to the point that I don't really like it at all if they're even just ATTRACTED to anyone else (see: BB's sharp turnabout where Arcee was concerned), but still ... it could be tons of fun, especially seeing how Sam might react to it. (Both being flirted with by something he identifies as male, and BB's jealousy.)

Yeah, I quickly realized that I needed a wayWAY expressive Sambot face. As much as I adored his little swiveling spike-ears, he needed some kind of face that would allow all kinds of looks.

Sam is serious about coming out of the robocloset! Miles' reaction was great. Then I decided that scene could never happen that way, which lead to huge woeface.
But yes, adding Miles always results in serious lulz now that Sam's an alien, no way I think about it.
