Whoa, I should be practicing for my lecture that is tomorrow. @w@ But I found this cool meme and couldn't stop doing it~! T3T I miss riddles...I hope you will have fun with it too~!

Hint 2: If there are 10 letters, then what else do we have a 10 of? How about numbers?
Hint 3: If these were just normal equations, then DAME + FEAR must be... D*1000 + A*100 + M*10 + E + F*1000 + E*100 + A*10 + R.

From there, I noticed E+E, L+A, and E+A = O. Thus dAme+fEar= _ O _ K
From there, L+0=L. And the C in Cloak stood out. So I figure D+F=CL. So Dame+Fear= C L O _ K.
From there, I was slapped in the face by that little stop watch or, better yet, CLOCK, in your hands up there. Not to mention the hint of "taking all the time we needed." Clever, very clever. Now I have to wash all the ink off my hand. Psh, paper... xD

You've been holding the answer in this meme for the whole time!

Since K + K = K, you can find right away that K = 0. (K = 0)
R + E = K, so R + E must be two numbers that add up to 10.
If R + E = 10, then you bring over the 1, leaving you with A + D + 1 = A.
A + D + 1 = A means that A is left in the tens place. D + 1 must = 10 (D = 9).
Also, considering that the highest added value between 0 and 9 would only be 18 (if you carry over a one, it's 19), you can safely claim that C = 1 (C = 1)
The previous statement would mean that E + A + 1 = O.
As seen before, E + E = O. O must be an even number and does not equal to 2 or 4.
E is greater than A by 1, but cannot be more than 4.
That said, A + L = E + A + 1. Or L - 1 = E. (A = 2, E = 3, L = 4; A = 3, E = 4, L = 5)
Once E is defined, we now know R from the previous "E + R = 10" or "3 or 4 + R = 10". (R = 7; R = 6)
And F from "D + F = CL" can now be guessed. "9 + F = 14 or 15". (F = 5; F = 6)
Since R and F cannot be the same number, it invalidates "A = 3, E = 4, and L = 5".
Now we remember that "E + E = O", so O is equal to 3 + 3 or 6. (O = 6)
That leaves us with
(K = 0, C=1, A = 2, E = 3, L = 4, F = 5, O = 6, R = 7, D = 9)
The only number left to connect to a letter is 8. (M = 8)
