Looking through my favourites now and I am seeing parallels of this design and the Yellowjacket from Ant-man.

"If you're wondering why I rarely have "finished" pieces, it's because I find beauty in the loose sketchy paintings. The highly rendered images are nice...but they tend to lack the feeling that it was made by human hands."
That's exactly what I love in your paintings! They feel very natural and alive.

I find a richness of possible interpretations in"loose sketchy" paintinggs. One day they show me one thing the other day it's yet another.

That explains a lot as to why I prefer the "loose sketchy" paintings over the highly rendered ones.

I also find beauty in loose paintings. Its like I'm looking into the artists Mind or like I'm trying to remember a dream of theirs.

They can be finished without being rendered! Speedpaintings are awesome - I like 10 speed paints for every oversized high def I've ever seen.

Fantastic. And I agree with your assessment about the sketchy first draft, if you will; there seems to be greater energy and immediacy in the looser first attempt than there is after we try to polish it up.

I agree with you there. There's always such a nice raw, loose feel to sketchy styled pictures. I tend to prefer them more.
Awesome work.
