this is what the storyteller who is Sarah, feels like to me. she is walking history.
done by layering the same painting several times, allowing it to dry and then scraping the hell out of it with a knife for the weathered look. must be looked at closely for full effect.

Knives make for awesome art-tools.
Also, this makes me feel like I'm drowning in a sea of pollution. I'm not sure why, but it feels like I can see rays of light, yet I'm drowning.
