Here's me trying to have a decent, detailed background for once.
I experimented with doing everything in grayscale and afterwards throw tons of gradient maps on it. I think I more or less succeeded, though I like my background much better than the witch.

Ah well, this is the reason why we experiment.

I think next time I'm gonna give the background some form of lineart as well, since I don't really think the witch fits. Maybe if, in a few days, I look at it again, I can see where to improve for next time.
