This is a rather classic spaceship view. Anyway, I wanted to give it a bit of atmosphere.
I've used a bright background to ease the way the scene is lit.

Answering a bit late to you JjuniorC, but no, I usually start directly on the computer's canvas, using large brushes to get initial shapes and composition.

Completement Pascal, ca donne envie de faire un plan encore plus typique de ce grand dessin anime, genre sur fond de nuages la prochaine fois...
