Thanks, no I use mostly photoshop. I've never gotten the opportunity to try out painter. Is that what you use?

I have used the 30 day free trail for Painter and it creates alot of very blended painterly strokes alot simpler than Photoshop. The exception being CS5, those mixer brushes can be manipulated in such ways.
