Remade from scratch, new model, new texture maps, new... well, new everything! Socair is one of my oldest characters and since his first creation I have learned so much and moved forward with what I can do... I terribly wanted to work with him but I did not like his apperance any more. His maps were flat and I also knew I could do better with his shape. Well, here he is, minor tweaks might still be done but so far I am very happy with him! He grew older and maybe even wiser! But only maybe.

Next thing is to get him dressed and also I need to give him back his jewelry. Yes, dark picture is dark. Check your monitor settings if you cannot see anything.

This is Genesis 2 Male with my own morphs and texture maps. The hair was completely painted in postwork. His skin has quite some Subsurface Scattering going on, based on the UberSurfaceShader System. I used one UberEnviroment Light, set to a very dark blue (almost black) and 128 occlusion samples, directional with soft shadows. There is also two linear point lights in front of him, a warm one to our right and a cold one to our left, both with raytraced shadows and a shadow softness of 4%. Render settings: Nothing spectacular, 3Delight renderer with quite some AntiAliasing (16 pixels on both the x and the y) and a shading rate of 0.6.
