Description
I've elaborated this map about an alternative version of Balkans and Central Europe, Macedonia and Thrace (historical regions) would be artificial independent countries and would not be part of Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey. Official languages of Macedonia would be Greek, Macedonian and Bulgarian, its capital city would be Thessaloniki. Official languages of Thrace would be Bulgarian, Greek and Turkish, its capital city would be Constantinople (European area of Istanbul in OTL).These would be the other differences in relation to OTL:
- Czechoslovakia would continue to exist.
- Austria-Hungary would continue to exist but as a combination of Austria and Hungary from OTL.
- Territories of Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina from OTL would form Serbocroatia, a country for Serbs and Croats with Bosniaks as ethnic minority. Capital city: Sarajevo.
- Kosovo would be part of Albania.Β
- Moldova and Budjak would be part of Romania.
- Cyprus would be part of Greece.
- Poland, Belarus and Ukraine (except Budjak) would be part of Russia.

Similar to Macedonia, you can 'create' a Slavic Thracian language as one of the official languages of Thrace replacing Bulgarian.

Well, it's still a better outcome than the one in the original timeline. I am not sure if the Hungarians would have agreed on making Vienna the capital though. I like the idea. But I think the Hungarians wouldn't. Anyways, nice map.

Why is Montenegro a separate state and not the part of Srbskohrvatska? They are Slavic also and they speak the same language
