Description The previous deviation lost a lot of the iconic nature of Superman's costume, so this one only has minor changes. The biggest change was getting rid of the red undies, which I've always hated. (Not that blue undies are much better, but its a start.) I also gave him some gloves and updated some details here and there.
Not much of a drawing...just wanted to get the idea down on paper to see how it worked out.

The "S" is fine. I like the way you did the cape. Belt's not horrible, but I think that having blue trunks defeats the purpose of losing the red ones. Can't stand the gloves, doesn't think Superman would wear them, although I appreciate the effort to make it approachable by making them fingerless. But THOSE BOOTS! I LOVE those BOOTS! It's so much alien, and functional at the same time, much in the way that they're usually both bland and serve no real purpose. The rest is just alright, but I might steal those boots if I've ever gotta draw Big Blue.

And yeah, I am such a Superman fanboy that I notice stuff like that...

The gloves are a good addition, I like the gloves, and the boots and underpants look better in your redesign too.

It also looks like you elongated the "S"-shield on his chest which, frankly, looks better long anyway.

All in all, this is a great design, great pic.
