Dawn Speare is a scientific genius in the field of Solar Technology. She synthesized a breakthrough material called Solithium, which is capable of collecting and storing solar radiation 1000x more efficiently than current photovoltaic technology. Her research was sabotaged by a rival energy firm, and her results were discredited. To prove the validity of her research and its world-changing possibilities, Dawn created a solar powered Sunsuit.
The gloves are multi-purpose radiation emitters. They are able to fire concussive photon bursts from the palm or focused lasers from the fingertips. Flight is achieved by the use of photonic propulsion jets on various control areas of the suit. The suit recharges quickly, and is capable of sustained flight in sunlight.
Nighttime activities are limited to onboard power - when fully charged the battery array has enough energy for approx. 5 hrs of moderate use.
