Winter weather in Vancouver is miserable -- rain, rain and more rain. I hate winter here, but we can sometimes witness a wonderful scene after a long rain. One such scene was one day when it stopped raining after many hours of rain. I was in one of the most famous landscapes in Vancouver -- Gastown. With wet ground and spooky greenish lightings, the steam of the steam clock was floating in the air and I could see the beautiful dusk in the distance. It was stunning. It was such a beautiful moment and I decided to paint it.I painted this in April, 2011

BEAUTIFULLL!!!!! I tried watercolor for the first time... didn't work very well haha. I lived in Vancouver for some time, but it was in the summer around Surrey, so there weren't any rainy days. It's great to see other seasons in that country through your paintings
