Yeah, we did those first as rough drafts. Before the finished pages were up, they were all sketches.

Something I just noticed... and this is just for future reference, so don't feel bad.
As amazing as that book shelf is, something is definately off. In order to see the tops of the books the camera angle would have to be elevated (and the spinds would be shorter). But since we have a perfect profile of Remus (<3) this isn't possible. The books should show less and less of thier tops as the camera get closer to Remus's head. Does that make sense *o*?

Hehe, yes. I've been working on perspective and such a lot since then, particularly with things like 'camera' angles lately. It isn't as hard when you just get over the 'holy crap, perspective is scary' thing. But I think that's true about everything! I look back at these pages, and I can't believe that they're just from last year. I can't believe I've improved so much so quickly. But that was the purpose of making this thingXD! A heart for Remus?
By the way, did something happen tonight to make everyone comment on my old Snupin Burrito pagesO_O? Not that I mind, but it was strangeXD.

Severus is looking particularly pretty in the first panel. I like how the larger panel was done--the bookcases are very detailed and obviously loaded down with books, and the screentone added over it allows for more emphasis on Remus so that it doesn't look so "busy". Nice.
