Though usually friendly and polite, Yancy suffers from Bipolar Disorder. His illness mostly stays on the "Low" side of things, mainly staying in a sort of depression zone, but often when enough stresses build up, Yancy can become somewhat reckless and emotionally volatile - though not in any dangerous way. His moods can fluctuate quickly and suddenly, but he does his best to keep it under control. Thankfully he has Dansus to help him.
Disorder aside, Yancy is usually a friendly individual who likes to have fun and go on adventures. He still has a lot to learn, and can be a little dense when it comes to socialising, but is usually hyperaware of upsetting others. Despite his apparent lack of confidence, he seems to have a way with others...Maybe they just feel sorry for him.

Usually, though, Yancy doesn't bother, as he's not overly inclined to submit to his Incubus/Succubus heritage.

Shapeshifting - He has a full Incubus form, and can shift into it or into various stages between human(oid) and Incubus.
Flight - Using wings from his Incubus form
Doesn't need to breathe. (And he doesn't, really.)
Temptation - Able to tempt and persuade others into doing things, it's usually linked to things centered around affection. The more someone likes him/is receptive, the stronger this ability.
Illusions - Can make (up to 3) individuals see and live various desires (Often, but not always, sexual).
Sleep inducement - If someone doesn't want to sleep, the most he can do is make them tired instead.

■ Background: Drowned only a few months after being born for being uncovered as a Cambion, right before Yancy actually died, his body was taken over by an old, powerful demon. Weak and already fading, Yancy's consciousness became dormant, leaving the small, newly inhabited baby to haphazardly make it to shore where it was noticed by a passerby, thus saved and consequently given a home.
   With only a vague amount of knowledge pertaining to how Dansus lived in Yancy's body all those years, Yancy's memories only really go back 7 years, to when their consciousness woke up once his body reached 16 years of age. By then, Dansus was living alone, having left wherever it was he'd been brought up to adventure more of the world. At first very confused and surprised, Yancy soon learnt that he wasn't the only shocked and confused inhabitant of the body, and, not really knowing anything different, he very quickly accepted the fact that he was sharing his body with another consciousness.
   Yancy continued to grow up, with Danse teaching him pretty much everything he knows as well as helping Yancy cope with his mental illnesses, quickly becoming best friends. Yancy is aware that he's a Cambion, but remembers nothing from his brief moments before he was drowned - he doesn't really wish to know about his real parents, and is busy discovering life for himself along with his more experienced best friend, Dansus.

■ Shipping?: Yancy is the type to get multiple crushes of varying degrees on a variety of people at once, but this doesn't mean I'm just multishipping! I actually Am Not a fan of multishipping (unless it's a poly ship). If he has a crush on any OCs, feel free to reject him/etc (I'll always ask if it's ok that he has a crush, though, but I won't expect his feelings to be returned!) That said, even with a crush on someone, Yancy would need to bond with an individual via friendship and platonic love before it developed into heavier romantic feelings. He'll also sleep around on occasion, so if your OC is into a fun time or two with no other strings (aside from maybe friendship) attached, then that's a possibility too! Just know that none of it can really be forced, as I prefer to stay true to my OCs!
