I used to often eyeball things when I was drawing stuff but lately that is not the case, because just a simple sketch or even a doodle can help you a lot by giving you a simple idea of how it might look before wasting hours on actually drawing it
Just look at those crappy sketches of mine U: they can look crappy for all I care since the final result is what matters!
You can even go ahead and use the stickman for simple pose structure, that helps too >.> at least it did to me a few times.

Also the image in reality is HUGE so download is an option for better quality.
