Ok maybe i feel a bit avoided but he still deserves it >.>At least that makes a nice use of that weird background i doodled on phonoshop the other day (only Will knows wtf i am talking about <_< )

I have no words. If I understand something in art, I should say that background of this picture is brilliant! It reminds me about many of artists, who draw fantastic scenes. Yes, maybe there are some mistakes (I'm not professional artist in fact, so I don't know), but it looks impressive. Red planet with sharp mountains and with many of vulcans. It should be very warm and dry place without any of water source. The only way to survive in this location is protective suit of brave cosmonaut...

There are always mistakes... many or few there are always are, but i won't bother to point them out.
As for the planet itself it came as a doodle, it just came together randomly without intention, but that also gives me an evil idea which people have yet to wait to see.

Zomb looks as if he's enjoying walking on that planet....And the planet looks like mercury and mars mixed together XD

It was painted by me alright <.< and Zomb is kinda in mid air enjoying the low gravity. and shading is similar indeed...

Of course, the charater is usually the centrepoint or focus, especially when you draw in a character based environment such as deviantart, where it is much more seldom to see a brilliant standalone piece of art without a direct "Subject".
