A large pan to roast fire-flakes in stood ready, awaiting her firebending to get it sizzling hot. The sun was not yet above some of the buildings in Republic City, but then Niuharoo and her family always welcomed it into the sky each early morning.

-Her family is really traditional, and has kept her under their thumb for all her life. It doesn't stop her wishing desperately to be able to attend some of the night-life and wear some more up-to-date fashions.
-There have been rumours of an arranged marriage on the horizon. As long as she gets to stay involved in her family's business and help keep it going she doesn't mind.
-Her family's business is under threat from the modern and more convenient food production systems; she'll do whatever it takes to keep them running and successful.
-She has very little training in firebending, apart from what is necessary for her spices. She'd like to learn.
