Love this study, Mark. Is this tan colored NSP?
Take care,
Rick~

So just curious, what are the advantages of the oil based clay?

It's a lot firmer to sculpt with as apposed to Super Sculpey. You don't need an intricate armature as you do with sculpey. It's just a very different material to work with compared to sculpey. Although It never dry or cure so yuu have to make a mold and cast it to have a permanent finished piece. You don't have to cover it and keep it moist like water based clay. You can heat it to soften it and rough in larger sculpture easier. .....

Ah, thanks for the info! I had just seen several pieces recently where the sculptor had used oil based clay and I've never used it before.
