EDIT 9/19/2016: Had to add watermarks due to a lot of art theft.After I fully shaded Alter's POC 2 costume, I decided to come back and fully shade this costume too in an Inks-to-Colors style inspired by .

I commissioned of Archie Comics to draw my OC, Alter the Wolf. I got it today literally a month and a day after I ordered it, and what can I say? It was definitely worth the wait! I'm truly grateful to have had this organized, and I'm hoping to get more of my OCs illustrated by him too!
Tracy did the line art on the left, and I did the simple flat coloring that you see on the right.

Actually, I noticed your comment on my commission to Herms. I admit, my character does bear a strong resemblance to Tails when his hair is cut short. However, I did not create Alter with Tails in mind. I created him from scratch, and I knew what his species would be right away. I agree, Lupe is a great example of how a wolf should be, but there are several other examples of wolves that have similarities to foxes in the official media of the Sonic series. Maria the Wolf (yes, an official character created by Archie and not a fanmade character) is a good example of that. So is Guntiver the Arctic Wolf. They both have a similar style to what Alter has. Again, I took no offense to either of your statements. I just felt the need to clarify Alter's appearance. And I actually want to thank you for making that comment. You're the first one who was openly honest about Alter looking like a fox (something I noticed as soon as I got Tracy's sketch of his POC 2 costume). It blew my mine how much he resembled Tails with shorter hair, but I still loved it and am greatly appreciative of it.

Thanks! His outfit has went through several design phases. I'm starting this idea where with every project I work on that's a sequel to POC ("Protector of Chaos"), Alter will continue to change his appearance. The Alter you see here is for the first POC, and the one with the red glowing circuits and shorter hair is for the sequel to that project. But, I'm going to be attempting to convert my fanfiction into a comic next year (in January, in fact!), so I'm really excited to show my readers how I envisioned my fanfic while I was writing it. I'm an amateur artist with little to no art training because I was focusing more on music when I was in high school (my biggest regret), but I think I'm on the right track now.

None taken. Some wolves in the Sonic series do appear similar to foxes and vice versa depending on the style of their hair (if they have any), eyes and ears.

Yep, I've always been a fan of TMNT, though I'm not as obsessive over it as I am with Sonic. XD I also try to keep up with the reboot. It took some getting used to. XD
