Where these two live, it rarely ever gets cold enough for it to snow. So when it does snow, it's important to get out and enjoy it <3Done in one sitting. Make no mistake, that background was hand done B] best cheap blurred city background I've done yet, I must say.
This was a nice break from other obligatory artwork.

All in one sitting, huh? I must say, this is pretty damn nice.
I can see where it gets a bit rough/unrefined in some spots, but strangely enough, I think that adds to the atmosphere. It feels like a moment that could be whisked away at any provocation. All the more to want.
I am really liking the mix between transparent snow and distant, glistening city lights. They way they play off each other, and occasionally blend together, give it the kind of intensely withdrawn atmosphere that makes my chest warm.

That's the cutest thing I've imagined in weeks.
Haha, I can just see them after they come inside--Tu sitting on the floor in front of the couch and Averil sitting behind him, rubbing his ears between her hands to warm them up while they watch one of the Christmas classics on TV ^^

HAHA WELL, the good thing is, where tu lives, minus 5 is considered ridiculous. But that's not cold enough for ears to get that nasty cold that penetrates the cartilage, so it's awwight.

The lighting and colours in this are beautiful...I love how you've managed to make it look wintery and cold as well as heart warming and cosy =w= The textures are wonderful and I especially love the grainy effect of the snow :>

Aww, I really want it to snow now. We keep getting snowclouds but it hasn't gotten anywhere under 40 degrees (Fahrenheit, at least; I think that's ~4.5 Celsius?) yet. ;_____;
Regardless, I think it's the composition and background that really really appeals to me here. This is a quite excellent picture. :>

Yeah, I normally can't stand the cold, but I'm willing to put up with it if there's snow involved~ It's actually snowing for the first time this season as I'm typing this, but it started out as rain so there's no way it's going to stick with all those giant puddles. ;w;
