Neat work! I do like the concept of using specialized weapons specifically to fight giant monsters - Godzilla movies have a history of the military using specialized versions of more conventional weapons to go up against giant monsters, so this is a nice tribute to those! Kudos!

Oh wow thank you very much amigo! I'm happy to hear I could take classic giant monster theme and actually pump some new life into it. Cuz I'm surprised the actual big screen monster movies haven't done this yet. Would make more sense form a military standpoint too to put robots in harm's way first and could still add to some epic cinema action shots!

Not bad. Radar is kind of questionable on small platforms, but I guess you could make up for the limited angular resolution by turning units into a Very Dangerous Array.
Hmm, it's basically the strategy for fighting the OGRE. These guys help wear down even seemingly invincible foes through kneecapping and subsystem damage.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Where they may not be the most powerful systems because size and power constraints, but having a bunch of small units communicating with another to forms a large real time picture of the battlefield. Heck yeah, or in the case of a giant monster... literal kneecapping XD

The only drawback comes in dealing with the typical audience that wants a foregone conclusion without consequences.
Audience: "Monarch Togora bled out and died after a protracted battle?! What a gyp! What a weak, stupid monster! We want an invincible one!"

Awesome! I've never seen an omni wheel before. It's pretty sweet

Oh yeah I never saw one until I joined FIRST robotics in high school. There's a wide variety omni- directional setups although the one with the diagonal sub-wheels is my personal favorite setups. www.google.com/search?hl=en&si…
It's freaky just how agile those things really are on flat surfaces! Although they really did have a lot trouble getting over basic hills and bumps.
Heck, I've only found a couple universities producing anything similar to this setup... I might be on to something! But many thank you's bud!!

Oh thank you kindly!Hey you're right! I like their name better too. The freaky thing is, something like these could probably be produced today if someone was willing to invest the time and money to develop the specifics of the design.
