I'm actually quite proud of this. Inspired by the Wagakki Band. Again, this was for the title page of my essay about fanfiction, so this was representing Alternative Universe.Originally all my drawings were edited, so the characters were transparent so I could put it together easily on the doc, but for here, I used layers to edit a bit of background and a bit of fog in the foreground
It's nothing fancy, but I had fun within the time pressure I was facing, having to turn in the essay today.
I losely followed a reference pic of the Wagakki Band, but I actually dared to change quite a lot, too, changes, Sasuke is standing, Sakura is holding her fan differently than in the reference pic... I think it makes quite a difference. Also saying, Sasuke's hand in the air was a challenge to draw, I'm surprised by how well it turned out in the end.
Materials: Colourpencil unfriendly paper, Edding fineliner, colour pencils, GIMP (three layers)

Nice work. This one's a bit more anime than usual I think. I see anatomy is one of the things you're best at still as well even with 3 different poses each with different body types. Sasuke is especially looking badass. Also shredded Naruto is something I don't think I've seen before lol.

Thanks. yeh, a teeny tiny bit more anime, but this was also done with pens and colour pencils, so the technique is quite different from shading with graphite pencils.
Sasuke was difficult to draw, glad it comes across as badass, definitely had issues with his pose, as I changed it from the reference. Shredded Naruto? Not sure what you mean with that, but glad you like it

I like seeing familiar characters in different outfits and themes like this. I think this particularly resonates (...no pun intended) with me since I just love music, so a band theme is especially cool to me.
I think the hands look good. My favourite here is Sakura. I like her outfit and pose the most; it looks really natural.

Thanks. oh, this makes me happy that you approve. Sakura turned out really well here, which surprises me because I did change up the hand position of the fan-hand. I'm really glad it comes across as natural.

I did indeed enjoy them. Haha, it's fitting that you were inspired by them to do this; those songs remind me of some of the songs in Naruto.
This is the part where I'd normally try to share some songs too, but I don't immediately have anything in mind that's similar to this style. I mean, I'm sure I've heard a bunch but it's scattered everywhere that it's too much to remember.
