It already says this down below, but the creature is not a bird, it's a cute leaf spirit featured in one of web comics sta.sh/01ruhfcdizwzPretty sure no one saw this coming, enjoy the somewhat manly Nor. It's a belated gift for a fellow candle-loving Norwegian, as I suck with work and stuff/life getting in the way so I never managed to finish it for the intended date.
I think this is the first time in a very long time that a) I've drawn Norway, and b) he's not doing something stupid. I highly doubt this will happen again in the near future, so to my Norway loving watchers, make the most of this, seriously. Now it's just the Iceland fans I'm letting down.
If you're curious about the title, Google it. To people who feel like leaving a comment here for the sole purpose of educating me on something I took the time to look up already, please don't. I have a Norwegian for extra information, and I'm not afraid to use her.

Oh, how I'd love to be that little leaf spirit though...^^ No wonder the national running gag has become “Let's take over Norway!” (And to all Norwegians; this is not meant as an insult or to indicate a desire to actually invade your country but just a really weird way of saying that we love you. I love the whole atmosphere in this picture. The dark background, the smirk on Nor's face, his life essentials of books and coffee. The lighting is beautiful, the clothe folds immaculate as always. I really love how you drew the light values overtop a dark background, it makes it look even more dark and foreboding. I must know how you make this awesome stuff ><''
