Last summer(2003) I went trhoguh a phase of creating Mechas in the japanimation style. I read tutorials on it and was churning them out. This was probably the best pic to come out of that bucnh and I was really pleased with it. People say I should give him a big gun or something, but i kinda like the idea that he doesnt need one.Related content

I think a lazer-sword or lance would be cool with him, or even a sniper rifle since he looks like he'd make a great scout. awesome work!

I can imagine things well, but drawing them's a whole 'nother story! lol. oh, the woes of an imaganitive cartoonist with no skill otherwise...

It seems geared for shoulder cannons or short arm-blades; but appears to have no problems getting in and out of close quarter combat.
Keep up the organic feel. Too many people go for the gundam or transformer thing.

Nice! I like that fact that it's pose is so cool that it doesn't need a gun. Where are the tutorials that you used? I would love to draw something like this.
