Beetleborgs!? Crap! I forgot about that, too. I only watched it maybe a few times. It kinda does remind of a Metabot. I've only watched that show maybe once.
If you read the description for deviations Geovonni Maximus - 01 & 02, as well as the other characters, you'll get the idea where my inspiration comes from. But not only from that, but from other Deviants here.

And on a completely unrelated note, make a steampunk version of your knight armour. It's currently powered by small super powerful reactors. I wanna see what it looks like with a low yield, large size power source like steam.

Nah, I've been dissecting the rules with the guys who are running it. Mech suits, robots and everything else you draw are acceptable. And since the outline of The Real is so delberately vague you can mold it into as much of a sci-fi a story as you want.
I plan on using a robot and a mech piloted by an android on my team if I decide to enter~ XD
(Speaking of which, the android that falls in love with her soon-to-be-trashed-mech story is being stolen back off you XD)

I basically am since two of my guys I've barely doodled before.
Also, might be up your alley, though they're advising building-sized mechs as opposed to power suits and it looks fairly badly organised.

I feel that would be boring tbh. Fine to have one but 3 just seems like an utter lack of creativity - which is of course true in this case. I would have hoped to enter 3 seperate characters with no relation to eachother in any way: fun/serious sci-fi/fantasy/norm etc.

Tis handy for me in that whenever I'm on a bus I generally try and come up with scenarios and characters to pass the time, so I've got reams of ideas perfect for usage in OCs.
