A bit of a tribute to the series that got me into anime. Fan art ftw, lol.
This was originally going to be a colour piece, but Evangelion's colour scheme is a little garish for my work, so rather than bastardising their designs, I went for some monochrome action.
Some reference used, but largely my impressions of 'unit one' from a whole host of images and figures

For those who don't know the series (and who like anime...) can really recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion. Just find and watch (youtube AMVs are terrible btw)
