Description The last of my appliance based humanoids, this is the bird cage, not an appliance in itself but that was what I had in front of me while I was sketching and I thought it could be cool.  With this one my series is complete. Check out the others if you will, hope you like them!

Hahaha, thank you so much!   It all started with one of my art school teacher proposing us to do something related to the house.

Such an unusual conception. The idea of false freedom is very interesting

I think most of us can relate to that, feeling caged by circumstances and not knowing how to find the exit but always hopeful. False freedom...well, lots of things tie us down, don't you think?

Lots. The most is the community either this is state or even family. All those behavior norms, traditions, etc.

In my first designs, the little bird was trapped inside the cage, not being able to go out and fly freely but it could control de robot thingy cage to move around, so in a way, it is a sense of false freedom. But, anyway, it's open to the viewer's mind, as it's always him who finishes the artwork with his imagination. So now, the story is up to you.

Hmm ... Sounds interesting! *.* would make a REALLY nice sf story!!!
I went more into fantasy story - like ... The red bird is a soul captured in the cage; red color of the bird made me to think about Feniks and I thought ... the only way is to be burned, like a real Feniks but he needs to understand it himself, other wise, without that symbolic death, he won't get his freedom (thanks to the wind) and he won't reborn as a better version of himself. I was also imagining that later he can change into a human form... and You know - there is a whole story behind it - war with machines and so on I watched too much anime ha ha ha

Hahaha, that is a nice story you got there, I like the bit of having to die to get his freedom. Watching anime and reading manga always makes your mind full of wonders!
