Description
Another Emerald Moon concept picture (Sailor Moon as a Green Lantern). This time Usagi is ready for battle. She is wearing a Movie type energy suit.Download for original size.
Notes:
I used various Sailor senshi images as a reference, one for the arms, one for the legs and so on, so her posture is really a Frankenstain monster!
The pattern for the green/black body suit and the light rays from the Eternal tier (the sceptre construct she wields) are from
The fire pattern used for the sun is from
I used the background from my "Emerald Moon, i can fly" picture.
*EDIT* I tweaked some textures and removed the glowing energy conduits.

Actually, rather than merging the GL and SM continuity on the same earth, I was thinking about a different story.
The base idea was about a special project devised by the guardians, of sending specially programmed GL rings to alternate universes, to set up GL corps there, and defend justice anywhere.
Then the DC came out with the 52 (too few!) and screwed everything up

And judging by how you described your what-if idea. Sailor Moon here would probably be the grand leader of the Green Lanterns of her reality, by building an army of peace keeping Green Lanterns who fight for all she stands for(Love and Justice). Starting with her fellow Sailor Scouts.

Yes... and imagine the grand finale, battling Sailor Chaos in the galactic cauldron. She sacrifice her master ring to send rings to all the sailor scouts in the universe 
Seriously, I never liked the pervasive isolationist tendencies of the outers... If there was a Sailor Corps in the universe, Galaxia would have been defeated immediately. But no! Every star system on its own, yeah, right!

Hmm I can actually see that happening. Wait, did you say all the outer planetary scouts were on their own and didn't call for help against Galaxia? That's awful.

Yep. That's pretty much what happened both in the Anime and the manga. Even the Sailor Stars were wary of the Solar System Sailors at the beginning, and they were the foreigners. Instead of asking for help, they sneaked around. I think this is the old Jap "us vs gaijin" mentality, often seen in anime and manga.

Yeah I can understand that, trust can be a hard thing to come by in difficult times. The Sailor Stars must've never heard the old saying; The enemy of my enemy is my friend".

Nothing. But 52 stands for the total number of realities existing... My story idea called for an infinite number of realities, so I scrapped it.

I do like this idea, very nice work. I've seen a lot of Usagi as a lantern, I'm pretty sure your the only one that's made her a green, I usually see her as a violet, I personally made her an Indigo (considering all the people she's forgiven, compassion seemed a pretty good thing for to be empowered by). I rather like the wand, great work.

I made her green because while I liked the "war of light" as a storyline, I find more interesting the concept of the Green Lanterns as the sole light of justice/hope/whatever in the universe, rather than just one of many.

Fair enough though I think the greens actually are the only ones that really care much about justice, the rest are kinda just doing their own thing. Either way Usagi makes a good green, really she could fit in all three (green indigo and violet) pretty easily. Love the costume by the way.

She maybe a crybaby and a klutz and at times a bit absent minded but she one of the purest hearts I've ever seen in a anime superhero.

Maybe. Yeah, she'd wipe the floor with the bad guys before they can say; oh crud. In her case if she could do all three, she'd probably put two of them in reserve for the really tough bad guys.
