Sage cares for the *surprise* sage plants that grow wild in the Angeles National Forest and local high deserts. He is well adapted to the difficulties nature presents him: drought, heat, winds, erosion... He has learned to live off of less and take whatever life hands to him and make the best of it. Because of this, he is a happy creature and is grateful for the smallest of things (rain especially). He enjoys naps in the sun (and shade), long hikes through his territory, and of course, tending to his plants.
His mark represents growth and endurance.
