The Little Mermaid

This was taken towards the end of the summer via 35mm film at the Manmade Lake in Manistee, Michigan. This is Lake Michigan water, it's simply separated by a sand dune. I believe the site was used originally to remove sand (for other use?), the hole grew so large that they found water. They say there's a large excavator at the bottom. It is incredibly deep past the drop off.
