Hi David,
C'est vraiment superbe, I am Duytter (Daniel) from my other account with portraits and other things... I really love how you paint landscapes and cityscapes, your brushes strokes technic is great and this snowy view from le Mont Tremblant is very inspiring.
Very good work
I just painted a snowy landscape for a friend and to look at yours is helpful

Hi Daniel - thanks very much! I didn't realize that you also paint portraits. They are amazing! I find portraits one of the hardest things to paint. They're very easy to get wrong!

You are very welcome David, the light is especlally marvelous on this one.
I draw and paint for a long time and I had my first portrait order when I was 14 years old, later when I was 16 I painted my first oil landscape, a view from the window of my bedroom. I painted later my first cityscape, I was 21 years old and I was student in an art school. Now I love to paint cityscapes, but sometimes it is pleasant to draw or paint portraits.
It was strange to me to paint a snowy landscape, but I was very inspired to do that for my friend.

Impossible not recognizing the artist's paw! The contrast between the cold colours of the snow and the warmer back ground is the specific characteristic of your painting;  Really,
I do like it! ( If I only could tell it in French!)
