Description
Finally the sun came out and I was able to go walking in the ravine and take photos that weren't all gray. Here are a couple of spruce growing on the banks of Whitemud Creek. Back at the parking lot I saw two pileated woodpeckers that were chillin' at the top of a dead tree.

I'm glad I went walking while the walking was good, it's going down to -29C tonight. I like how after a couple of cold snaps one starts thinking of -10C as "warm".
