These are the cupcakes I made for Corny's farewell. c: I was so excited that they actually worked out! It took all of yesterday (including a slight sugar mishap, which meant I had to start all over again), and now they're done!!

This is my first photo for Project 365, but I didn't have time to submit one of the cupcakes yesterday, so this is for the 14th of Jan. (:

The sugar mishap was preeetty stupid. I thought that because two cups of flour is equal to eight ounces, sugar would too (me typically ignoring and forgetting that sugar is heavier than flour). So basically, because two cups of sugar equals a pound rather than eight ounces, we ended up with a pound of sugar in the cupcakes, resulting in some very soggy, gooey cupcakes coming out of the oven. But I remade the mixture and they turned out fine the second time round. xD
