Sundew. My first fullbody dragon. *-* I'm especially happy with her wings. The talons could use some practise.
I saw TheMythArtist 's LeafWing redesign (see below) and I had to use it! I like it better than the original design so maybe I will keep using it when drawing LeafWings. :3 I did make some minor changes to add a little bit of the original LeafWing design to it, and I couldn't really get the head shape right. I had no motivation left to draw her right wing so let's just pretend it's held close to her body. I used her in-book description as opposed to how she's depicted on the cover of her book for her design, but added some pinkish spots on her frills and gave her pinkish eyes because then her name makes more sense.
Suggestions on how I could improve the anatomy are welcome!
Also, I think leafspeak is a really cool and interesting concept as trees can actually communicate with each other, which is discovered only pretty recently. Nature is so underestimated.
