I snagged this ref off the official website (shh), and he just looked so sad I couldn't resist. I decided no blending on this one, I'm trying a new technique. Just an HB pencil. Oh wait, no its not. I used a 4H for the outline. I kind of like it

Great, I love it! Not only amazing likeness, but expression and everything else too... And the fact that you left the hair unfinished - it focuses the viewer's attention on the face itself, very good move.

On the italics thing in html -- just put <> and <> before and after what you want to do in italics -- so for example
<>hello this is going to be in italics<>
but in the first <> put
i
and in the second <> put
/i
for bold you use a b instead of an i, that kind of thing
it's just like when you're making a link in html you use the href a in the first and then /a in the last -- the first

I use the HTML code which is a lower case "i" in these brackets: < > To close the italics, you put a / in front of the "i" in the second set. The word or words you want to italicize is put between the two "i"s.
